And what size are the center of the blocks with the panel? I would love to go through my panel collection to see if I could use any of what I already have. I personally think that is a sweet problem to have, but since my machine and all sewing supplies are in my living room and spilling over into the dining area, it probably looks a little cluttered and strange to those who enter our door. I want it badly, but just can’t spend the money right now and need to use some of the fabric I have as my small home runneth over with fabrics.

You can!…but, I don’t think it will be as pretty. I know some of you are thinking you might prefer to sew along without using a panel. The panel is not included in the Apricot & Ash bundle so you will need to make sure to purchase it separately. If you can’t find it locally, I did a quick little google and was able to find it online (at least at the typing of this post =)–both the fat quarter bundle as well as the panel. Here’s a little reminder of what that one looks like:Īpricot & Ash is still available to purchase in various quilt shops. If you have a fat quarter bundle of Apricot & Ash as well as the panel I designed for that line, that would also work perfectly. I’ll keep you all posted but I want to make sure we give the quilt shops plenty of time to get the fabrics in their shops and you guys time to get the fabrics in hand.Īnother fabric line that works well for this quilt along is Apricot & Ash. I am still thinking, based on what I am seeing now, that we are looking at a February/Early March start. The start of the quilt along depends on when the fabrics arrive in quilt shops. So many shops are happy to do that if they have the fabrics! I encourage you to check with your favorite quilt shop to see if they can kit the quilt along for you. Once the fabrics start shipping to quilt shops, you will be able to purchase them locally as well as online. That date can change though–I’ll try to keep you guys updated. I just checked the shipping status of Beautiful Day yesterday, and as of then, it is looking to arrive in quilt shops by the end of January/Beginning of February. The fat quarter bundle of Beautiful Day includes the white panel so it is perfect for this quilt along. We will be cutting the panel apart and using those pretty motifs in the blocks we make.
